That Monica has to be watched!  She really likes baths.  Tonight she tried crawling in the bathtub with Cecilia.  By the end of the evening, she was able to hook her leg over and straddle the side of the tub.  So her getting into the bath by herself is imminent...

I have entered the realm of youtubing this week.  I recorded a video of Cecilia's choir group rehearsing then edited and posted the video to youtube.  This is to help the whole choir practice the song at home as choir rehearsals are bi-weekly.  When the kids get to rehearsal they are ready for fine tuning instead having to learn the song.

Pumpkin patch

Jack, Monica and I joined his preschool class at the pumpkin patch.  They began with a hay maze, then petting zoo, hay pyramid, and a hay ride to get their pumpkin.

This was the last picture as Monica was done with all that pumpkin business.  She is teething, so when she gets tired she cries big tears.  When we got home she took a three hour nap.

Birthday Dress

So this is my latest creation...I have moved from skirts to dresses.  I can do sleeves!  Next time I do this I need to use a lighter weight material, corduroy was too heavy for this pattern.  Cecilia was surprised and happy with her new dress.

Homework time

Cece and Dad have started doing her homework together.  It is their quiet time after dinner.  He gives her the spelling word and she writes while he reads the paper.  It works well because Cece wants involvement but not help.  She is determined to do it herself so not having Mom look over her shoulder is ideal.

St Francis of Assisi

Today at Our Lady of Lourdes, we celebrated St. Francis of Assisi's feast day.  The kids are allowed to bring their pets to school for a blessing.  And Matilda the cat could use all the blessings she can get.  There were many dogs on leashes so we left Matilda in her carrier so she wouldn't run off.  It all happened so fast this was the only picture I got of the cat, Cece holding here in the carrier.

Monica was content to look around, in her raincoat.

Jack was very popular, there were only a few pets for his class and the kids were all crowded around Matilda's carrier.
