How did we celebrate the end of VBS?  With a girl scout hike at WSU Vancouver campus.  We got so muddy I had to keep my promise to let them play in the fountains there.  Monica tried to crawl through while Cece (pictured) & Jack ran around crazy like.

VBS service project

We helped the campers make these blankets for homeless women entering permanent housing.

Today we went and visited Anya, Jason and Michael.  They have a new house with plenty of room!  This is Monica and Michael catching up!

Whole milk Monica

She made it 50 1/2 weeks on Mommy milk.  But she is not digging formula and so we are going to cow's milk.


It is a treat having the whole milk in the house again.  It tastes so good!

4th of July

First skirt

This is the skirt pattern I was making for Cecilia.  Pretty easy and I already had all the material.



Here is Cecilia wearing her new skirt.  She likes that it comfortable and I like the length and shape.

Caterpillars

While at church yesterday, Cece and Jack found these caterpillars.  She wanted to take one home and I said yes.  By the time we got home, we had 10 caterpillars between her and Jack that they picked off this plant.  Yikes, we don't know what it is!



Our best guess is a Cinnabar Moth.
Does anyone else know?
