Latest skirt collection

I have been making many skirts lately.  I might be done for awhile but they are so easy and make great gifts! 

Uniforms?

Cece is not thrilled with wearing uniforms to school.  She really likes wearing bright colors and prints.  One morning she came out to tell me she was ready for school, she wasn't going to wear her uniform (this is what she was wearing).  She did change but it hopefully it won't be a continuous battle for the next 8 years.

Berry Picking

I took the kids berry picking on the Salmon Creek trail today.

Cecilia caught on real quick.

Jack was more of an eater than a saver.

Monica just wanted to go home for a nap...

After the Fall Festival

After the Fall Festival Cece and Jack were proud of the bracelets they won in the bean bag toss and the plate of cookies from the cake walk.  Monica was checking out all the action.  I had made Cinnamon Rolls for the cake walk and won a trivia round during the festivities!

Farmer's market walk

Before Cece's soccer game, we girls went down to the farmer's market (which is where Monica got the apple she is holding) then on to a walk down by the waterfront to the old apple tree.

Someone sits on the stairs because she wants to go down to the basement.  She can almost turn around and then she slides down on her tummy.

Picnic at WSU

Just love the WSU Vancouver campus.  Nice place to play in the fountains.

 Good place to ride bikes.

Dave and I even split a bottle of wine...It was 187 milliliters!

We had pasta salad, grilled chicken, and peaches...

Daddy was teasing them by waiting by the faucet and then turning on the water really fast.  Here they are waiting for the water.

They were sharing a towel, anything to save me some laundry!

Our bathing beauty

It is very hot here today.  It is almost 90F ( or 31C).

The kids spent the day in their swim suits so they could get wet in the sprinkler.  

Monica was not a fan of the sprinkler but she is quite a vision in a swimsuit!
